Truespeed
- Racing Wheels
Truespeed inline wheels are for speed-skaters and are specialized for
competition. This range of wheels resembles highly pressurized thin
tires and roll easily! The wheels are equipped with a specially designed
flexible hub that has a precision ground metal ring and -spacer at its
core. The precision ground core and spacer make it possible to install
the bearings clearance-free and rotate the wheel centred, removing stability
problems.
For speed-skaters it is extremely important that the available motion
energy is used effectively and that is what TrueSpeed equipment is all
about.
At the shop there is a selection system that will tell you what to expect
from each wheel: its specific weight, maximum load conditions, wheel-thickness,
performance at weather conditions, stiffness etc.

Our wheels
with 688 bearings are best skated with until the skater has about 18kg
per wheel skated on. After that we recommend changing the bearing size
to 608 for stability.
The Class indicates the width of the wheel; Class 0 and 1 are very well
suited as a competition wheel because they are especially narrow. The
Class 2 suits itself as a universal wheel, which performs very well
on smooth ground and dry weather.
